ShawneeCowboyIndian featerShawnee - Cowboys, Indians & Outlaws.  every Thursday carve ins, Shawnee Senior Citizens Center. Indian flute making, led by Seminole Chief, Jerry Haney. sessions are from 9a-2p
the Shawnee Cowboys, Indians & Outlaws meet every Thursday and carve on what anyone wants to carve on.  We're still carving flutes and we've done an Indian bear claw necklace, we make name tags, even ornaments.  You name it and we do it.  And of course we do lots of socializing.  Our whole group in Shawnee are talkers (not just me), we share things, help each other out & have become one big happy family. We started out just twice a month, but the interest gained momentum, and here we are every Thursday just laughing, having fun, and sometimes we get some carving done.
