At the November 10, 2008 General meeting, members present voted for 2009 club officers.  They are:

I want to pass on some info regarding the Oklahoma Centennial bowl that I carved last year.  Many OCWC members remember it because I have received a lot of comments on it.     In any event, I reported previously that this piece won first place in the "professional sculpture" category at the Waurika art show and it took first place in the "artistic bowl" category at our annual show weekend before last.  I now pass on that it won Best-Of-Show at the Golden Spread Woodcarvers show, in Amarillo, this past weekend.
