Opportunities for Oklahoma Artists Travel Oklahoma is offering opportunities for Oklahoma Artists including wood carvers and sculptors. Events in March and April were highlighted in the latest e bulletin. Artist Getaways offered in Northwest Oklahoma’s Mesa Country. The Hitching Post Ranch in Kenton , Oklahoma , is offering a time for exceptional creativity. Nestled amongst the gorgeous mesas, hosted by a working ranch family in their bed and breakfasts, you and several other artists will have the opportunity to concentrate on your work while Jane Apple takes care of your meals. · March 14-16 Woodcarvers and Basketmakers · March 28-30 Oil Painting · April 4-6 Writers · April 18-20 Watercolor and Pastel · April 25-27 Drawing, Pen and Ink, Pencil, Charcoal · April 28-29 Photography (with permission for some private land access) Cost is $139 for the weekend, which includes meals on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday plus your room. the Carousel Project is still progressing and we now have six horses either complete or just needing a little clean-up to complete them. The carousel, created by Bob Smith, is really coming along nicely. We should have a few items to show the membership at the meeting. |

Branson Bound!! Richard Dalke reports that At least 5 club members are headed to Branson tomorrow for a week. several that have been going are not this year for various reasons. Walt & Harriot, Steve, Kent, & I that I know of, are going. We who are left behind salute you. We know you will have many great times and will remember to share your experience with the club. |
