Looking Ahead Hopefully, we can have pictures of the various choices early enough that they can be announced in the June newsletter. At the June meeting we will try to reach a consensus on this issue so we can let her know, giving her ninety days to get everything ready. It is expected that one of her personal choices will be a buffalo wall hanging. This is a carving consisting of several buffalo heads carved partially in relief and partially in the round. She had a similar style carving at our show last year; however, the subjects were tigers in one and rabbits in the other. Photographs of these carving will be available at the May meeting. Those who want in these classes might want to think of signing up (with a deposit) early to ensure a spot at the table. Interest is really high for these classes and they very well may fill well in advance of the SHOW, so be ready. |
